Enrichment Details

Our Enrichment program, offered in the afternoons, gives children the opportunity to explore and dive deeper into Art, Spanish, Literacy, and Science. Through hands-on learning and fun, engaging activities, students are encouraged to follow their curiosity, develop new skills, and build a love for each subject. This special time is designed to make learning exciting and meaningful, allowing children to explore their interests in creative and interactive ways while fostering a lifelong passion for discovery.
Our weekly Chapel program is a joyful and meaningful time of spiritual enrichment where children are gently introduced to who Jesus is and reminded of the beautiful truth that God is love—and that He loves each and every one of them. Held each Wednesday, chapel features age-appropriate messages that affirm they are fearfully and wonderfully made, uniquely created, and deeply cherished by God. Children sing uplifting worship songs, learn simple Bible verses, and enjoy engaging, interactive Bible stories that spark their curiosity and imagination. Many lessons also include skits or hands-on activities, allowing students to actively participate and experience the message in ways they can understand and remember. This special time is designed to nurture their hearts, build confidence in their identity, and support their growth in a warm, caring, and faith-centered environment.
We offer a weekly Christian Education lesson including stories, songs, games or hands-on activities to help kids understand God’s love for them and the world around them.
Our preschool literacy program is thoughtfully designed to nurture a lifelong love of reading while building strong early language and pre-reading skills. Each week, children visit our library, where they explore books and grow in their excitement for stories, and parents are warmly invited to volunteer as guest readers to share in that experience. In addition, children receive a dedicated literacy enrichment session once a week in the afternoons, focused on learning letters, sounds, and beginning and ending sounds through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities. Students also practice letter formation using hands-on materials such as sand, play dough, and whiteboards, making learning interactive and meaningful. Our goal is to ensure every child develops a confident literacy foundation and is well prepared for future academic success.

Logos promotes literacy enrichment and higher-level thinking through Bookie Bags, a fun, informative way for families to share reading and learning experiences at home.
The books are theme-related, reinforce things we are learning in school, and allow students to explore those topics in more depth.
Bookie Bag activities emphasize critical and creative thinking skills, which we want all Logos students to practice.
Our Science Enrichment covers a rainbow of topics packed into small-group science sessions at a pace driven by the small scientists themselves.
We launch regular investigations (wonder! guess! try it out! decide if you are satisfied with your answer….and repeat!) and look twice at the world we think we know. Creepy crawlies, gooey-fizzy messes, and beautiful rocks, fossils, and minerals keep this a hands-on, brains-open, question-asking science group!

Our afternoon PreK classes take part in Spanish Enrichment daily. They play games, sing songs and do many activities that helps enrich their vocabulary while learning the Spanish language in fun, engaging ways.
Art Enrichment is a time for fun! It is exciting and challenging. Children are introduced to artists and great works of art from different time periods and genres, to educate and inspire. Our projects utilize a variety of media, giving the children a chance to create art, both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional, with paints, clay, textiles, natural and recycled/repurposed materials, to name a few.
Children have wonderful imaginations and God-given creativity. Through art they are given opportunities to develop that creativity, as well as their spatial and perceptive abilities, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination. They are presented with choices, which requires decision-making and problem solving. It allows them to explore and make discoveries. Some projects require planning, such as laying out the design they envision in the space available. Often a project requires perseverance and patience to complete. All these factors work together, and the result is the fabulous and beautiful art your children create!
